It's been over a month since I last blogged. My intentions have fallen flat. At this point I feel so far behind I don't know where to start. Except... I made a choice today. The house was clean, the kids were fed and nestled in their beds, work was done, now what? I thought, hmmm.... I am going to take this time to color my hair, take a shower, put some makeup on and feel like a woman. So as I sit here typing, the dye is soaking up on my much neglected hair, and the shower is calling my name. If time allows I may even paint my toes... has the world gone mad??? Or maybe the "me" that has been lost for so long is finding her way back from the piles of diapers, and constant loving chaos of motherhood. Stay tuned.
It's amazing what a shower, and a little TLC can do to your spirits. Let's see if "he" notices tonight?

ReplyDeleteit's so hard to make the choice sometimes....put ourselves at the top (okay, really middle) of the list. But I always feel so good when I do!
I got that bib necklace from a shop on Etsy called Polkadotmoon. Her name is Denise and she's a good blog friend of mine. She doesn't always have them available, but she is happy to make custom orders and her work is fabulous!

YES - I sell the feather headbands in my shop. I can custom make them almost any color you want. And - I've owned those Baby Buggies for awhile...but bought them at a Flower Warehouse once upon a time.
OK - seriously random...but I just looked over and saw my sister in law's blog on your blogroll. Jenny Peters! Do you know her personally? The Birdie Baby Shower that's on Haute Dates was for Erin - our other sister in law - who is married to TJ - Jenny's (and my husband's) brother. Small World. =)
